It’s worth mentioning that the Dodge Charger Hellcat is currently the fastest and most powerful production sedan in the world. If it wasn’t for the Hellcat being rated way over the “600+ horsepower” speculations then the CTS-V would have been the most powerful and fastest sedan in the world. In fact, I’m certain Cadillac was counting on the marketing. Sooo close! However you can expect the new Panamera Turbo S and next generation Aston Martin Rapide to attempt to takeaway that 204 mph top speed from the Hellcat. Of course an E60 M5 without the limiter will supposedly do 204 mph as well, so until someone hits 205 mph stock then we really don’t have anything new here.

Still, most powerful and fastest sedan in the world is a Dodge that can be found for under $70k in the right parts of the US (the Southwest, obviously).

And a de-limited Volkswagen Phaeton W12 will do 201mph with 2/3 of the power. Also nobody gives a shit.

Gotta beat the man to be the man. E60 M5 is still king.

I'd rather have a CTS-V or many other cars.

Coincidence; I reviewed a hellcat today... The video won’t be up for a few weeks... But damn if it wasn’t fast and absolutely brutal!

The 230mph Brabus Rocket 800 (electronically limited to 220) still beats it - and it’s being produced in numbers today.

On a track where it counts, the E60 M5 is still going to be faster, the 1mph difference won’t mean anything. These days the E60 is a lot cheaper too.

So the Hellcat is cool, but the Germans are still one step ahead.
